Ogden Airport Master Plan
In August 2018, the City of Ogden initiated a master plan study for the Ogden-Hinckley Airport. The FAA has been providing the City with grant funding over the years for eligible airport improvements, but recently requested that the City update their airport master plan. The last comprehensive airport master plan was completed in 1994. Numerous airport activity changes, a recent business aviation focus on large aircraft maintenance, refurbishment and overhaul (MRO) operations, new FAA design standards and guidance, as well as economic and community changes are driving the need for an Airport Master Plan. The goal of this master plan is to provide guidance which allows City leadership to operate the Ogden Airport in a safe and effective manner, in compliance with Federal requirements and grant assurances. A public involvement program has been established to keep the community updated on the master planning study progress and to invite input. This webpage is one aspect of the public involvement program where study-related materials are posted for review. If you have any comments or questions on these materials, please reach out to Bryant Garrett, Airport Manager, by e-mail or phone (801-629-8223), or the airport team by e-mail.
