NOTAMs (NOtice To Air Missions) are filed with the Federal Aviation Administration to alert aircraft pilots of potential hazards along a flight route or at a location that could affect the safety of the flight. Hazards could include, but are not limited to:
- Airfield surface conditions or closures
- Airspace restrictions
- Inoperable lights on potential obstructions
- Inoperable navigational aids
- Maintenance activity on airfield surfaces
- Crane activity near airfields
- Air shows
Sign Up For OGD NOTAM Auto Notification List
The NOTAM system has the ability to automatically send NOTAMs as they are created or cancelled to a notification list.
TO GET NOTIFIED - click here on Contact Us to be added to the NOTAM Automatic Notifications for OGD. Notifications can be delivered via email and/or text.
The notification list is managed by the OGD airport and not the FAA. Please understand it may take up to 5 business days to be manually entered into the OGD NOTAM system by the Airport staff.
If you elected for email notifications - once your information is entered into the system you will receive an email from "fnssupport@faa.gov" requesting to OPT-IN to receive notifications. Once you OPT_IN you will start receiving notifications via email.
